THE BILINGUALISM IN THE SPANISH EDUCATION The education in Madrid has been bilingual since 2004. IES Tirso de Molina , our high school , is a bilingual one. This project was made thanks to Esperanza Aguirre , It was a great idea to make primary schools and middle schools bilingual . Having the option to study in Spanish, English or French . As we said before It was a fantastic idea ,but not a finished one .NM4ºA Students that have being learning in English all their lives , have suddenly to stop studing in english , because goverment hasn´t prepare anything yet.

Global Classrooms 2018

  Tirso de Molina participated once again in the Global Classrooms project sponsored by the Community of Madrid Ministry of Education. The bilingual section classes in the 3rd of ESO spent the first trimester of the school year learning about the United Nations, our designated countries, the assigned topic, and debating techniques.  Our school researched the following countries; Austria, Brazil, Senegal, Kuwait, and Papua New Guinea for the purpose of the project. Additionally, we researched and investigated the issue of the rights of migrants across the world in order to be prepared to debate the issue at the conference in January.  Ten students were selected to represent our school at the conferences, which were a gathering of representatives from public schools across the Community of Madrid for the purpose of debating and seeking resolutions to the issues researched.  Our students did a fantastic job, and we are so proud of their critical thinking ski...

MONFRAGÜE

Today I'll have talk about the next excursion we will make any students of 4th ESO 1st Bachillerato and 2nd Bachillerato The days 7, 8 and 9 April we are going to the National Park Monfragüe. Monfragüe is in Cáceres (Extremadura). The excursion we do with biology and go to sleep in cabins of 8 10 or 12 people. I think it will be a great excursion and very funny. When we're not all there will be laughter and we'll have to get up early and walk a lot, but probably worth the effort. The routes that we have done are raised to see much wildlife and many varieties of animals. The price is cheap, 45 € the three days, so if it does not include the food, we have to bring us the house Those chosen to go to excursion were chosen by lottery as there was space for everyone.
